HISTORY
In 2018, the former Latin America team of Graycliff Partners
spun out to form Bela Vista Investimentos.
The senior team of Bela Vista has worked together for almost a decade, first as part of HSBC Capital in its Latin America private equity program, and then as part of Graycliff Partners, which was established by the former management team of HSBC Capital in the United States and Latin America in 2011.
Since 2008, the senior team of Bela Vista Investimentos, as part of its predecessors firms, has managed 11 investments in Latin America. Bela Vista Investimentos continues to act as subadvisor to Graycliff for existing investments in Latin America.

Cristiano is a founding Partner of Bela Vista Investimentos. He previously served as a Managing Director of Graycliff Partners, Bela Vista’s predecessor firm, in its Latin America Group. Cristiano joined Graycliff in 2011, when it was created by the former management team of HSBC Capital, of which he was a member since 2008. At HSBC Capital, Cristiano led the private equity investment activities in Latin America. Prior to joining HSBC Capital, Cristiano worked at AEA Investors in its global middle market buyout fund, and for Aetos Capital in its private equity business. Prior to that, Cristiano worked at Warburg Pincus in its Latin America Group, and also worked in the investment banking division at JPMorgan. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from Escola Politécnica at the University of São Paulo and his MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
Guilherme is a founding Partner of Bela Vista Investimentos. Previously, he served as a Managing Director of Graycliff Partners, Bela Vista’s predecessor firm, where he worked in its Latin America Group since its formation in 2011. Guilherme joined HSBC Capital in its Latin America private equity program in 2010. Before joining HSBC Capital, Guilherme was an Investment Associate at AIG Capital based in São Paulo where he worked on direct private equity investments for its Latin America fund. He started his career in 2001 at Patria Investimentos, a buyout private equity firm in Brazil where he worked for over 5 years. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Fundação Getulio Vargas in São Paulo, Brazil.
